Crochet Cushions

Crochet Cushions

Crocheting cushion covers is an easy, fun, and creative endeavor. You can, literally design what your heart desires!

From Granny Square patterns, to waffle stitches, plain double crochet stitches with mix of blasting colors or just a beige color to blend invisibly in a room!

Here are some ideas I hope you will enjoy!

Recommendations:

Yarn – you can use just about any yarn type, depending on your project.

Here are some of my favorites:

1. Harmony Color Milk Cotton Yarn

2. Rainbow Blended Color Yarn Cake

 3. Velvet Smooth Acrylic Blend Yarn

Ready to Start?

1. Start from the baseline

Depending on the size of the cushion, the yarn, and the crochet hook you are using, start the foundation row by stitching as many chains as you need for the width of your cushion.

You can use single crochet, double crochet or any stitch you desire to complete the size of the cushion.

With the combinations of colors and stitches, there are endless designs you can create.

Use waffle stitch - This is a very pretty design with 3-D effect.

    2. Start from the center

A big Granny Square is a good example for this. With a creative color mix, the cushion will certainly come “alive”!
